Terms of Service

These terms cover moving and delivery work booked with D&T Delivery LLC through dandtdelivery.net. Booking a job means you accept them. How we handle your information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

Booking and confirmation

Submitting the form on this site is a request for a booking, not a confirmed job. A dispatcher contacts you to confirm the crew, the rate and an arrival window. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm it to you — by phone or in the confirmation email.

The availability shown on the site reflects our schedule at the time you looked and can change before a dispatcher reaches you.

Pricing

The rate that applies to your job is the one confirmed to you in writing before the move. The prices shown on this site are current at the time you view them and are what your confirmation will be based on, but the confirmation is what governs.

Moves are charged by the hour:

• an hourly rate covering a two-person crew and a truck;
• a two-hour minimum, after which time is billed by the hour — you pay for the time actually used;
• an additional hourly charge for each mover beyond the standard two;
• the clock starts when the crew arrives at your pickup address and stops when the last item is placed. We do not bill travel time to or from your job, and we do not add a fuel surcharge.

Deliveries are charged at a base rate, plus, where they apply:

• a distance charge beyond the included radius;
• a charge for delivery above the second floor where there is no elevator;
• per-item charges for assembly or for removing old items.

Anything that changes the price on the day — more items than described, a longer carry, an access problem — is raised with you before the work is done.

Payment

No card is required to book and nothing is charged when you submit the form. Payment is due when the job is complete, by the methods the crew accepts on the day.

Cancelling or rescheduling

Call (817) 715-0045 as early as you can. Because we hold no payment method for you, nothing is charged automatically if you cancel. Crews and trucks are scheduled per day, so late cancellations cost us a slot someone else could have used — please give as much notice as you reasonably can.

We may cancel or reschedule a job for reasons of safety, weather, vehicle breakdown or crew illness. If we do, we will tell you as soon as we know and reschedule at your convenience.

What we need from you

• Accurate addresses, floor and access details — a lift, a long carry, a narrow stair or a parking restriction changes how long the job takes.
• Any building requirements handled in advance, such as reserving a service elevator, a loading bay or a parking permit.
• Someone aged 18 or over present at both ends, or a named person authorised to act for you.
• Items ready to move at the agreed start time unless packing was arranged.
• Anything unusually heavy, fragile or oversized told to us before the day.

What we cannot move

Our crews will not transport:

• hazardous, flammable, corrosive or explosive materials, including propane tanks, fuel, paint and ammunition;
• anything illegal to possess or transport;
• live animals or plants that will not survive the trip;
• perishable food that is not properly packed for transport.

Please carry cash, jewellery, medication, keys, passports and irreplaceable documents yourself rather than putting them on the truck.

Damage and claims

We are an insured moving company and we take care of your belongings. If something is damaged, tell the crew before they leave if you can, and report it to us in writing at bookings@dandtdelivery.net as soon as possible — the sooner we hear, the better we can put it right. Details of our coverage are available on request.

We are not responsible for:

• damage that was already there before we arrived;
• the contents of boxes you packed yourself, where the packing was the cause;
• damage caused by items you asked us to move against our advice;
• ordinary wear, or unavoidable marks caused by a tight doorway or stairwell you asked us to work through.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, D&T Delivery LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost income, missed appointments or the cost of alternative accommodation — arising out of a delayed or interrupted job. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

This website

We keep the site accurate, but availability indicators, distance estimates and quoted totals are estimates generated from what you enter. They are not an offer, and the confirmed booking governs. Tools such as the fit estimator are provided as a guide only.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Tarrant County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in force when your booking was confirmed.
