Privacy Policy

This policy explains what D&T Delivery LLC collects when you use dandtdelivery.net, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website. It does not cover anything you tell a crew member in person or on the phone beyond what we record to carry out your move.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you book a move or delivery, the form asks for:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• the pickup and destination addresses, including apartment or unit number and which floor the job is on;
• your preferred date and time;
• details of the job — property size, how many movers you want, assembly or removal items, and any notes you add;
• whether you agreed to receive marketing email.

We do not take card or bank details on this website. There is nothing to pay when you book, and no payment method is stored here.

Information collected automatically

• Which pages you viewed and how you moved through the booking form.
• The page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and Google's gclid). This is how we tell which advertising is working.
• Standard technical information your browser sends — device type, browser, screen size, approximate location and IP address — collected by the Google services described below.

How we use it

• To schedule and carry out your move or delivery.
• To contact you to confirm your crew, price and arrival window.
• To send booking confirmations and, if your quote is unfinished, a reminder. You can opt out of reminders at any time.
• To send marketing email — only if you agreed to it when booking.
• To measure which adverts and pages produce real bookings.
• To keep records of completed jobs for accounting and tax purposes.

Cookies, tags and local storage

We do not set advertising cookies of our own. The Google services below set theirs, and the site keeps a small amount of information in your browser:

• Google Analytics 4 — measures page views and how the booking form is used, and sets its own cookies (names beginning _ga).
• Google Ads — measures which ad clicks lead to a booking or a phone call, and sets its own cookies (names beginning _gcl).
• Session storage — the campaign tags from the link you arrived on are held for the length of your visit so a booking can be credited to the right source. It is cleared when you close the tab.
• Local storage — used only to keep our own staff signed in to the dispatch system. Nothing is stored there for ordinary visitors.

These tags do not load while the page is still rendering. Analytics loads once your browser is idle, and the Google Ads tag loads only after you interact with the page.

Hashed email sent to Google

When you submit a booking, Google's conversion measurement may send Google an irreversibly hashed version of your email address so it can match the booking to an ad click. Google receives the hash, not your address, and it is used for conversion measurement — not to build an advertising profile of you on our behalf. If you would rather this did not happen, contact us and we will exclude your record.

Address autocomplete

The address fields use Google Maps Places to suggest addresses. That service loads only when you first click into an address field, and what you type there is sent to Google to produce the suggestions.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with:

• Google — analytics, advertising measurement and address autocomplete, as described above.
• Our email provider — to deliver booking confirmations, reminders and, where you consented, marketing email.
• Our hosting provider — which stores the site and the booking records on our behalf.
• Anyone we are legally required to share it with, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Our crews see only what they need to complete your job.

How long we keep it

Booking and customer records are kept while you are a customer and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and insurance purposes. Enquiries that never became a booking are kept only as long as they are useful, and you can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your choices

• Marketing email — unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message, or email us.
• Quote reminders — tell us and we will stop them.
• See, correct or delete your information — email bookings@dandtdelivery.net and we will respond. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may have to keep records of completed jobs where the law requires it.
• Advertising and analytics — you can turn off ad personalisation in your Google account settings, install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or block these tags with your browser or an ad blocker. The booking form works either way.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging a move. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted in transit. Access to booking records is limited to staff who need it, and each has their own sign-in. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects your information and the law requires it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear rather than slipped in.
